The principles I view as crucial, will hopefully lead my audience toward discussions that reconcile the sciences and humanities. Through the medium of painting, I investigate the human experience and attempt to understand our place in the cosmos.
As art is examined over time, nuance and purport bloom. Interactions on the atomic level become metaphors of cultural conflict. Solutions to the dilemmas of our era are in the systems of Nature. International boundaries and biological membranes act as fulcrums, for the hopes and fears common to both sides. Art allows for new horizons.
